Residential Demolition - Dave in Etobicoke
I hired Ben and his crew to demolish the main floor and basement of a home I recently purchased to begin our renovation. Bens quote was very reasonable and his crew was able to start immediately. Steve and Glen anchored the crew and were professional, courteous and worked tirelessly – being precise in what I asked them to remove/salvage. Clean-up was par excellence. A great experience. Big Ben and his crew did a fantastic job in completely demolishing the interior of my 3000 sq. ft. century old home. The lathe and plaster walls were covered with multiple layers of wallboard and the ceilings were also lathe and plaster creating a difficult and messy environment. Multiple layers of the floor coverings and 2 chimneys were also removed. The crew of Steve, Glen, Rupert and Charlie worked through the mess with great determination and completed the project on time and on budget. Big Ben was always available to answer questions and promptly returned voice messages and his is word was as good as gold. We found Ben and read his reviews from home stars website. Then we saw Big Ben's dumpsters in our neighbourhood. My husband Eric contact him and he responded quickly. After they discussed the arrangement and the location of the dumpster, we hired him for demolition of first floor hall way, second floor plaster walls and entire third floor. The trades he brought in were experienced. By the end of the day, they cleaned up the junk. Overall, they completed professionally. Ben is a very nice person to deal with. I would definitely use his service again.

I've used Ben once for rubbish removal and another time to rent one of his stylish bins. His service is attentive and pricing for rubbish removal hard to beat. Called him on a Sunday and he and his son were over in a flash. I was planning on loading his truck with my old insulation that I'd removed, but he and his son jumped right in to help. Also rented a bin for construction debris another time and the bin showed up promptly with a very good driver to set the bin in a tight spot. Bin was a day or two late in being picked up, but I've had that happen with other rentals if they are busy. Highly recommended for eastern Toronto.

Outstanding short notice help from Ben and Son - highly recommend! Having seen a few of Big Ben's dumpsters in our neighbourhood, I called on Saturday (of a long weekend) to get an estimate on removing some drywall, wood, plaster, etc from some demolition in our basement. Ben showed up within an hour, gave me a price, said he's be back with an empty bin, and sure enough, 45 minutes later he and I were loading everything up. Ben drove me to the bank to get $$ then back home, too. We also had some concrete that needed to be recycled - Ben said he could do this later that week, but an hour later, both he and his son, David, decided to come back (about 6 p.m. on a Saturday) because they had a little extra space and wanted to help us get rid of the rest of our stuff. Great help on very short notice. Great price and very friendly guys.
